Below is an Elizabeth dual boiler espresso machine made by Lelit in Italy, and owned by Breville. The unit was inspected once it was received by our warehouse, as we double check all Lelit machines for damages right after arrival.

As of March 13, 2025, we inquired to Breville USA, the owners of Lelit USA, about the gap between the water tank cover and the rear body panel. On March 17, 2025, Breville USA replied,

I ran these images by our LELIT after-sales team who advised this is 100% normal and in-spec, so there’s no need to return the unit.
Hence, if a Lelit Elizabeth dual boiler espresso machine is purchased from 1st-line, this will be considered the norm and will not be considered damage from transport, NOR a defect in workmanship.
Pictures were taken in 1st-line’s showroom.
