Features
Dual Boiler System
- 0.5L coffee boiler, 1.0L steam boiler
- Stainless steel, insulated:
Saturated Grouphead
- 58mm grouphead where the coffee boiler sits on top.
PID Controls
- Boiler temperature: Set the temperature for the individual boilers. Select between 80 – 105 °C for the coffee boiler and 110 – 135 °C for the steam boiler.
- Shot timer: The display immediately changes to the timer when you press any of the dosing controls. The resulting time will stay on the screen for approximately 3 seconds.
- Preinfusion: You can set a pause during the first few seconds of an espresso shot for passive preinfusion. Select between 0 – 10 seconds.
- ECO mode: You can program the machine to turn off automatically after a set period of non-use. Select between 0, 28, 60, 90, or 180 minutes.
Electronic Controls
- Hot water dosing: Select between 3 – 60 seconds.
- Programmable coffee dosing: You can program the shot times for each dosing option. Select between 15 – 60 seconds.
- Manual coffee dosing: A semi-automatic option to start and stop the coffee extraction when you decide.
Vibration Pump
- Efficient: 41 watts, rated up to 15 bar. You only need 9 bars to extract perfect espresso, and wattage has no correlation to longevity.
- Cost-effective: Pumps will degrade in performance over time. Replacing a vibration pump will cost less than a rotary vane pump.
Pressure Gauge
- Ranges from 0 – 20 bar. Optimal range is between 8 – 10 bar.
External Glass Water Tank
- Ease of use: The unique design of the water reservoir outside the espresso machine makes it easy for many reasons. It makes filling easier and reduces the chance of spillage inside the machine. Most single-boiler espresso machines do not have low-water sensors to check the water tank levels. With the Bellona’s setup, knowing the water level is very clear.
- Perfect positioning: The flexible tubing allows you to place the water tank on either side or even behind the machine.
- WARNING: This machine uses an external glass reservoir which can break and breakage is not covered under warranty.
- WARNING: Since this machine uses an external reservoir, the machine can run without water and cause damage. Please insure the reservoir is always filled to the maximum line as these damages will not be covered under warranty and any returns will have the credit charged for repair of the damages.
Steam/Hot Water Wand
- 3-hole steam tip: More holes makes for quicker easier frothing. Fewer holes allow for longer controlled frothing. More steam wand tips (2-hole, 4-hole) are included.
Parts & Accessories Included
- Portafilters: 1 dual spout and single spout Portafilter. 58mm diameter.
Filter baskets: 1-cup filter basket which holds approximately 7 grams. 2-cup filter basket which holds approximately 14 grams. Rubber blind insert, that you use with the 2 cup filter basket for backflushing. - Steam tips: 3 hole tip comes pre-installed on the machine. Also includes a 2-hole (for longer steaming power) and 4-hole (for easier frothing).
- Tamper: A solid beautiful stainless steel 58mm tamper. One less accessory you will need to buy.
- Cleaning brush: For cleaning underneath the grouphead. The other end of the brush has a built-in scoop used for backflushing detergent.

Notes
- Upon receiving: Please note that you may see a mark/dent on the lower front panel. Bellezza packs this machine by rotating the steam wand inwards to the front of the machine. It touches the lower front panel and when we open them up to bench test them, sometimes we see it leaves a mark/dent. When we pack them, we add protection between the steam wand and panel to avoid further damage.
- Machine height: The manual states the height is 415 mm which is ~16.5 inches. This measurement is from the feet to the top rails. The total height from the feet to the steam handle is ~19.25 inches.
- Instruction manual version: There are some Version 2 models that may have the instructional manual of Version 1 inserted. You can get the Version 2 manual on Bellezza’s website.
General Espresso Machine Notes/Warnings:
- Upon first use (tank/reservoir models): On the initial start-up (or after a long period of non-use), it is important to make sure the pump is removing water from the tank. When the machine is powered on, you will hear the pump running. After 5 seconds, squeeze the in-line hose in the tank (usually the longest hose, has a particle filter attached). if you hear a different sound, this means the pump is working correctly. If not, immediately power down the machine and contact us. For more information, visit this page General Manual Pump Priming.
- Electrical: To avoid electrical damage to this espresso machine which is not considered a manufacturer's defect, please acquire and install a single-outlet surge suppressor rated at 1080 joules or higher. Without the recommended surge suppressor, the espresso machine can be damaged at the power switch, the electronics, the heating element, the pressurstat, or the wiring inside. For more information, visit this page Power Protection.
- Water: To increase the useful life and not damage your espresso machine, please use softened water. Softened water is water without calcium and magnesium, but still has other minerals for espresso extraction. Do not use distilled, purified, or reverse osmosis water as these types of water create oxidation with the metals and cause the same damaging effects as limescale. For more information, visit this page Water Choice.
- Descaling: We do not recommend descaling unless there is an issue with the espresso machine. Too much descaling can eat away at the metals and gaskets inside an espresso machine. As a preventative measure, we recommend using softened water as explained in the bullet point above.
- Backflushing: This procedure of cleaning the grouphead will need to be performed from time to time. For more information, visit this page Espresso Machine Backflush – Why 50?

We have seen this heating element become defective when there is too much limescale build up on it. Unfortunately, at this time, the manufacturer has become very resistant to sell any dealer including Bellezza the heating elements or to anyone else. You can email them directly and see if they are willing to sell you one. Here are their email addresses: [email protected] ([email protected]) and [email protected] ([email protected]).
Can I get a repair estimate for a Bellezza Bellona V2 purchased from your website in 2023. The steaming boiler has failed and reseting it does nothing. I have extended warranty on the machine via my CC and would like to submit a claim with them, I will need a repair estimate or a non-repairable assessment if you can't procure parts for the repair. Since it was purchased from you and based on their website you are the sole US/America distributor, I'd like to evaluate my options so I can coordinate with my warranty provider.

Sorry, we do not have a good response at this time as we are awaiting the manufacturer to supply us with pricing and the part. Apparently, there is an issue with their supplier. We are trying with alternate suppliers but we have not been successful yet. Thank you in advance for your patience.
Just for your information, for the two units that we replaced the heating element for the steam boiler, both issues were the accumulation of limescale from hard water. Therefore, there is a high likelihood that your steam boiler has scale build up.
Do you have steam boiler replacements for this machine? I was able to find it for the V1 but I have the V2 version (bought from here on April 2023). The steam boiler is not heating up, but the display shows water temp. So assuming something went wrong with the boiler itself. I pressed the reset button on the thermostat as shown on one of your videos but still no heat.

The V2 has a separate heating element. Unfortunately, we do not have any in stock at this time. The manufacturer is trying their best to get them in 110 volt.

We did offer the one year warranty, and the price is $1499. Dealers are responsible for the warranty. Hence, when we lower the sales price significantly, then we lessen the warranty. There are makes and models from other manufacturers where the warranty states one year, but dealers offer 2 or 3 years. However, the prices are increased for the extra warranty period. So, this works both ways in our industry. The specified dealer warranty 'rules' the transaction and this is why we state it for every online order.
If you would like the one year warranty at $1499, please let us know and we can change it for you.
The 1st-line Bottomless E61 Portafilter with 3-Cup 58mm Basket and ~6.5mm Lips that is included in the Frequently Bought Together section above does not list this machine as a compatible fit in the long list of manufacturers. Question 1: (external links out allowed and removed) Says the Energy absorption is 2000 W. Your description says 1350 W. I assume the discrepancy is that their website is referring to the 220v version. Is this true and will this USA version of the Bellezza Bellona work on a 15 amp 120v circuit or is 20 amps required?
Question 2: Can the top rails be removed and if so, what is the height of the machine both at the back and front since I see the top is sloping backwards? My kitchen cabinets are 16 inches above my countertop and stick out 10 1/2 inches from the wall so I’m hoping it will squeeze underneath without the rails. Thanks.

Unless we made an error, our web site usually overrules over manufacturers' web sites.
Answer 1: Electricity is based on an equation, and part of that equation is the actual voltage measured in your outlet. It would be better if the outlet is 120-125 volts. If the actual voltage is 110 volts, there should be no other things plugged into that outlet and circuit. Please remember multiple outlets can share one circuit.
Answer 2: The top rails can be removed. The back side measures approximate 14.5" height. We can not measure the front because the OEM lever and the optional smaller lever with the Bellona will be higher than the front. At the point where the lower front panel starts, the height is approximate 15".Hence, the machine can probably be tucked in 6.5 inches under the cabinets.

There is no adjustment for vibration pumps, and this is why there are no instructions. The gauge on the Bellona shows the resistance of the coffee as explained in our document. Please make your coffee grind finer, add more coffee, and/or tamp harder to increase the resistance on the pump.

The Bellona machine is just what I am looking for, except for the huge steam lever. I've seen in a number of blogs and discussions that the height is a common issue (won't fit under my kitchen cabinet). Is there by chance a shorter version, or a same threaded third party handle available? Barring that, can the lever be left in the down position when the machine is off? Thanks,

We never suggest buying an espresso machine for a gift as most times, it does get returned. The only time to buy an espresso machine as a gift is for a gift is when the user indicates a particular make or model.

Hello, I am shopping around and considering the bellona, but just had a few questions. - I saw your post on home barista that the opv is adjustable, but will void the one year warranty if touched. What bar is it set to from factory? - And is it measured at the group head or pump? - Also, has reliability been good with the units you have sold and played with? Thank you

The OPV screw has a sealant paint on it. If changed to adjust, it can be damaged. Thus, the warranty is voided. The OPV is set to open between 9-10 bar on the gauge on the front panel, However, the gauge can be 0.5 to 1.0 bar over the actual pressure in the puck - this range is provided as each machine can be slightly different. So far, our units have exceeded expectations. However, for those buyers who imported directly from the outside of the USA seem to have some issues as we are getting requests for parts. Unfortunately, we revert them back to their dealers as those dealers are responsible for those customers.

Can a water softener be added to the tube in the outside water tank? It looks like the tube sits too close to the bottom of the tank to do that plus would the Lelit water softener even fit on the tube? Advice on a water softener for this machine would be helpful. Thanks

Hi Julie,
You can use the OSCAR packs instead.
Could you hook this up to a tap water supply?

Sorry, the Bellezza Bellona is not plumbable to connect to a water supply.
Where is this Machine fabricated?

Fabricated can mean different things. The machine is "assembled" in China. Bellezza has advised that approximately 40% of the components are from European origin.
We are very strict at 1st-line to not carry Chinese products UNLESS they meet our high quality standards. This is why, which our future video will show, a reason why we did not bring in the the Bellona until a year after we received the sample prototypes which we requested improvements.
How does one adjust the OPV pressure?

Answered by the admin
As with many other machines, the OPV should not be changed. In fact over the years, on other machines, customers end up damaging the OPV.
In the Bellezza Bellona espresso machine, the OPV screw has sealant placed over it. Hence, if it is changed and damaged, the customer is responsible for the damage. Please keep in mind, the brew pressure is created and managed by the grind fineness, the amount of coffee in the basket, and the tamping pressure.
