  2. Please note that heating elements can ‘look’ used. We do receive them from the manufacturers with white powder or a green oxidation. This is how we receive them.

I ordered the replacement heating element for my vibiemme domobar super hx (purchased from you 13 years ago) (everything on machine working except it stopped heating and old element has no continuity) but I am unable to remove the old element. I have replaced it in the past (using 1 1/2 inch heating element socket and a screwdriver to turn it) but couldn't get it to move so got a 37mm socket with a large breaking bar so could put a lot of force on it but still unable to make it budge. Are there any tips on how to get it out? thanks.

Thanks for the question. Sometimes it gets jammed in there and requires massive amounts of work. There is a lot of elbow grease used to  remove the old heating element. One way is to jam a flathead screwdriver as leverage to pull it out. However, the boiler can be damaged in this case, for which we are not responsible for.
