Product Compatibility Inquiry for E61 Ceramic Mushroom Assembly
Replace or upgrade your espresso machine’s grouphead with the Complete E61 Mushroom Assembly in Ceramic — a precision-engineered, corrosion-resistant solution designed for most (but not all) E61 grouphead and Rocket E61 grouphead espresso machines.
Built to Last: The Case for Ceramic
Standard mushroom assemblies use all-metal construction that is vulnerable to corrosion over time due to constant exposure to hot water, pressure, and mineral buildup. This complete assembly solves that problem where it matters most: the lower portion of the mushroom is constructed from ceramic, a material chosen specifically for its resistance to corrosion and its ability to maintain a clean, tight seal over thousands of brew cycles.
Benefits of the ceramic lower construction include:
- Corrosion resistance – ceramic doesn’t rust or degrade the way metal does in hot, mineral-rich water environments
- Extended service life – reduces the frequency of grouphead maintenance and part replacement
- Consistent performance – a well-sealing mushroom assembly ensures proper pre-infusion pressure and flow for balanced espresso extraction
- Drop-in replacement – engineered to fit the standard E61 grouphead design used across dozens of espresso machine brands
What’s Included
This listing is for the complete mushroom assembly — not just the ceramic lower piece. Everything needed for a full replacement is included in a single part, making installation straightforward for both technicians and experienced home baristas.
E61 Grouphead Compatibility
The E61 grouphead is one of the most widely used grouphead designs in the world of espresso, found across a broad range of professional, prosumer, and semi-commercial machines. This ceramic mushroom assembly is compatible with most — though not all — standard E61 groupheads and Rocket E61 grouphead models. Please verify your machine’s grouphead type and part specifications before ordering.

Who Should Replace Their Mushroom Assembly?
If your espresso machine is experiencing inconsistent pre-infusion, poor pressure profiling, or visible corrosion around the grouphead, the mushroom assembly is one of the first components to inspect. Upgrading to this ceramic version is a cost-effective way to restore proper function and add long-term durability — particularly in areas with hard water where corrosion accelerates.
Please note, as shown, the lower and upper gaskets are included with this part.

does this part fit Lelit Mara or Bianca E61?

Answered by the admin
Sorry, we are unsure as we never tried it. We do not believe it will work on the Bianca because of the flow control device found on the Bianca.

Q Will this fit a Rocket Cellini Evoluzione V2? answer nowAsked by Dave on January 29, 2024 7:26 pmAnswered by the admin
Yes, it has been originally designed for Rocket. It should fit, but as with any part, if there is an issue with pitting in the grouphead or a modification (known i.e. pitting by water corrosion and unknown i.e. a specification change by the manufacturer not communicated to dealers), the part may not fit properly. This is why we will never guarantee a fitment on any part.
Would this fit a Lelit Mara X?

Answered by the admin
Sorry, we have not been able to confirm this. We believe it may work, but we are not 100% sure it will as each E61 grouphead can be slightly different.
will this fit a profitec pro 700?
-
Answered by the admin
We are unable to confirm as we do not have a Profitec Pro 700 espresso machine to check. We would be pessimistic to say it will not fit as we 'believe; the mushroom on the Profitec E61 group heads are 1-3mm wider in the cavity that the mushroom fits into.
