Features
Steady Optimal Brew Temperature
- Heat exchange system with a large 16-liter boiler and insulated grouphead. This helps ensure optimal & stable water temperature during coffee extraction no matter what time of the day it is whether during rush hour or a slow rainy day.
Temperature Switch (T-Switch)
- Innovative 4-position temperature switch. The T-Switch allows you to set a different extraction temperature (approx 90°C / 93°C / 96°C / 99°C) for each grouphead with the boiler adjusted to 1.0 bar. This way you can pair a specific blend of coffee with the optimal temperature set grouphead.
4.3” Touchscreen Display
- Easy to use, very responsive touchscreen similar to smartphones. Gives quick access to all options such as the preset pressure profiles for each grouphead, hot water temperature, and boiler pressure. You can also switch the menu interface between an “easy” version with just the main settings or a “tech” version for more experienced baristas.
2-position steam knob
- There are 2 steam wands, one on the far left and one on the far right. Each wand is activated by a 2-position rotary knob. Turning the knob left has a lock feature that will keep the steam wand active without holding it. Turning to the right is the “purge” function will release any water before you start steaming.
Pre-Infusion & Post-Infusion Control
- You, the barista, can control the bar pressure & duration of all 3 phases of coffee extraction, the initial stage (pre-infusion), main extraction, & final stage (post-infusion). This allows you to change the flavor profile of your coffee. Save your profile on the touchscreen for easy repeatability.
Multiple Color Options
- The Rancilio Invicta is available in 3 color styles (all at the same price) to help better match your espresso bar setup.
Smart Flush
- An automatic “Flush” can be enabled after a set time interval from the last dispensing operation. This function keeps the group at the right temperature and improves thermal stability.

Notes
General Espresso Machine Notes/Warnings:
- Upon first use (tank/reservoir models): On the initial start-up (or after a long period of non-use), it is important to make sure the pump is removing water from the tank. When the machine is powered on, you will hear the pump running. After 5 seconds, squeeze the in-line hose in the tank (usually the longest hose, has a particle filter attached). if you hear a different sound, this means the pump is working correctly. If not, immediately power down the machine and contact us. For more information, visit this page General Manual Pump Priming.
- Electrical: To avoid electrical damage to this espresso machine which is not considered a manufacturer's defect, please acquire and install a single-outlet surge suppressor rated at 1080 joules or higher. Without the recommended surge suppressor, the espresso machine can be damaged at the power switch, the electronics, the heating element, the pressurstat, or the wiring inside. For more information, visit this page Power Protection.
- Water: To increase the useful life and not damage your espresso machine, please use softened water. Softened water is water without calcium and magnesium, but still has other minerals for espresso extraction. Do not use distilled, purified, or reverse osmosis water as these types of water create oxidation with the metals and cause the same damaging effects as limescale. For more information, visit this page Water Choice.
- Descaling: We do not recommend descaling unless there is an issue with the espresso machine. Too much descaling can eat away at the metals and gaskets inside an espresso machine. As a preventative measure, we recommend using softened water as explained in the bullet point above.
- Backflushing: This procedure of cleaning the grouphead will need to be performed from time to time. For more information, visit this page Espresso Machine Backflush – Why 50?
