It could be the display board, or if it has it, the board on the underside. There is no way to tell unless each piece or both is replaced.
You sent the above answer to my question. Where can I get the display board and if it has it the board on the underside? Are there instructions for making the replacements? Alternatively, how do you recommend I go about fixing this. Will it stop working soon? Thanks!

Sorry, the manufacturer, nor 1st-line, have instructions for this repair. The grinder can be shipped in for repair using this link. Please note that parts prices do not cover the cost for any technical support needed to make the repair.
My Quamar M80 grinder I bought from 1st line a few years ago has developed an electrical problem. When I press the on switch, the light in the switch comes on, but the power (indicated by the letters / numbers on the top of the grinder lighting up) does not come on. IF I then turn the power switch off and on again (switch light comes on again) then usually the power of the machine comes on and I can grind. Occasionally, I have had to turn the switch on 3 times (off twice) before the power comes on. The strange thing is that when the power does not come on when the switch is put in the on position, it looks like a very week response in the numbers / letters on top of the grinder is occurring.
