My PL62T PID 9/11/15 has a tank micro switch with 4 leads …the replacement switch 9600010 shows only 3 connections. How do I accommodate the two small black wires that come from the magnetic sensor housed beneath the tank that go to the switch?

Sorry, we do not have any units in stock to check here. Your current switch may have 2 wires on mail terminal connector of the switch. We do not recall seeing switches with 4 terminal leads from Lelit. Otherwise, please email us a picture of the current switch in your machine.
OK. I tested took the machine apart and removed the micro switch and the reed switch. Both of these items passes bench testing. I replaced each of the switches with the replacements I purchased from you (the machine is 8n years old). Given both switches were good we probably need to replace the brain unit. Regarding the microswich---It it held in place by two small sheet metal screws. The screw opennings new micro-switch are too large so I cannot get the switch to securely mount on the sheet metal tab using the original mounting screws that were in the machine. I am trying to source a suitable machine screw and nut so the micro-switch can be mounted securely. Also note that the leads on the replacment reed switch are less than half the length of the leads on the original OEM reed switch. I had to splice on additional wire. Also the plastic insulators make it impossible to remove the old reed switch from the plastic mount/grommet or install the new reed switch without removing the insulators/spade connectors.

Sorry for all the troubles, but this is what our techs deal with when parts are changed because of upstream manufacturers. If you like, you can send in your machine for repair. We are very sorry as this level of expertise needed is beyond our free support via Q&A.
PL62S Mara. (Purchased from 1st Line Dec 2014). . Continuous low water level alarm (tank full) I pulled out the tube and verified the float actually floats by placing it in a glass of water. I then cleaned the inside of the tube and the tank, reinstalled the float, and reassembled everything. I turned on the PL62 and it immediately alarmed for low water. I removed the tank again, removed the level tube and placed a 4" piece of plastic under the float and then reassembled. When I turned on the machine it sounded the tank low level alarm. Request: Can please you tell me what parts might be required to repair my machine. (Reed switch?, microswitch? both?) I purchased a replacement water tank assembly (tank, float, and tube) from 1st Line about a year ago.

You depress the micro-switch and place the magnetic float into the REED sensor when the machine is powered on. It could also be the micro switch which needs continuity on the 1st and 3rd leg when depressed. Machine needs to be unplugged form wall outlet when testing the micro-switch. Lastly, make sure the group-head lever is all the way down and not hitting the group head switch when powering up as this may throw the alarm as well.
