Hello! I own a Lelit Elizabeth v3. The drip tray gate has been buzzing for years now and I am at the precipice of insanity due to it. I tried purchasing silicone tubing to run along side the sides to stop the buzz... bought the wrong size and I am about to spend another $15 to buy more tubing but figured I'd email you: I remember talking to Jim about this a long time ago and IIRC, he said they all do this. Is this still true? My drip gate 1600046 is not entirely flat. When I flip it over and place it on the counter, one corner of the metal sticks up off the counter. No matter how hard I try, I can't get this to be completely flat. I even though about splashing out $60 on a replacement part from 1st line... but I am curious a) what the complaints were about this and b) does the replacement drip gate flay completely flat or does some/one corner stick up? You have to have heard this complaint from others... I bet more than once. Thanks, Tom

Sorry to hear this. We have heard of a few complaints, but every make and model do get one complaint or another. The grate can be bent to make it lay more flat upside down. however, this may not make the noise go away. You may want to bend out the inserted portion of the grate so it lies firm against the actual drip tray and makes a very tight fit. However, there will be some scratching. We hope this helps.
