Overview
Since we brought in the Eureka line of espresso coffee grinders back in 2015, we have seen many different models over the years. Each one has something unique to offer. The Atom Specialty 65 can handle large-volume grinding. The Perfetto can grind for multiple brew methods. Now we are excited to introduce this new grinder with a feature that you don’t find in other grinders. The Eureka Mignon Libra features grind-by-weight dosing. Most on-demand grinders are timed based in that the grinder will run for a preset time. As you refill your hopper with beans that may have a slightly lighter or darker roast, that can affect how much coffee will fill your portafilter. This may require recalibrating your grind time. With the Eureka Mignon Libra, you select the exact amount of ground coffee you need (in grams) and it will grind out that amount. Lessens the need to readjust and is accurate within +/- 0.2 g to reduce waste.

On Demand Grinding
Grind by Weight Dosing! One of the few espresso coffee grinders on the market with this feature!
Flat Grinding Burrs
Large 55 mm flat burrs provide an expansive grinding surface for faster, more efficient production, while a high 1350 RPM motor further boosts output to reduce wait times. Thoughtful design allows easy burr access by removing the hopper and top panel for straightforward maintenance. Paired with Silent Technology—an anti-vibration system that cuts grinding noise by approximately 20 dB—this setup delivers speed, serviceability, and noticeably quieter operation for both home and professional environments.
Dosing Funnel
Designed to fit most 57 mm and 58 mm portafilters, the dosing funnel helps keep grounds exactly where they belong during grinding. By minimizing spillage and mess, it reduces waste, improves workflow, and keeps your coffee station cleaner and more efficient.
Adjustable Portafilter Fork
Designed for true hands-free grinding, the adjustable portafilter fork securely supports most portafilters, allowing you to grind with ease and consistency. The fork height adjusts smoothly from 1″ to 2.5″, accommodating a wide range of portafilters, including those with a dosing funnel attached. A protective silicone coating on the top surface prevents scratching, keeping your portafilter looking pristine while enhancing everyday usability.
Grinding Adjustment
The stepless adjustment system offers an infinite range of grind settings, allowing precise fine-tuning for any brew method. Conveniently located beneath the hopper, the numbered adjustment dial makes it easy to track and return to your preferred setting. Simply turn the dial clockwise for a finer grind or counterclockwise for a coarser grind for accurate, repeatable results.
Bean Hopper
The low-profile bean hopper keeps the Eureka Mignon Libra compact, measuring just under 11.5″ without the hopper and approximately 15.375″ total with it installed, while holding about 300 grams of whole beans. A built-in set screw secures the hopper in place and serves as a reminder to empty it before removal. An integrated finger guard enhances safety and helps reduce bean “popcorning” as levels run low, while a sliding stopper door at the base allows the hopper to be removed with beans inside for quick, easy bean changes (after grinding out the remaining beans in the burrs).

Notes
Espresso Coffee Grinder Warnings:
- Roast Profiles: Espresso grinders sold by 1st-line Equipment, unless specifically indicated on the grinder page, are manufactured for coffee beans that have Italian or espresso roast profiles. Lighter roasted coffee beans may clog the grinder or not grind fine enough. Darker roasted coffee beans, such as French roasted or oily coffee beans, may clog the grinding chamber and/or the grinder chute where the ground coffee exits.
- Changing grind settings: It is very important to only change grind settings when the unit is powered on and the burrs are in motion. If you do not do this, the burrs will ‘gunk’ up and render the grinder to only produce very coarse grinds or no grinds at all. To remedy this, you will have to open up the grinder to get access to the grinding burrs. This issue will be considered operator error for lack of following directions, and not be classified as a defective grinder.
- Electrical cord: For most grinders, the cord is placed between the packaging (foam or cardboard) and the underside body of the grinder. During shipping, it is normal for a bend or insignificant blemish/slice to damage the cord.
- Finding coffee grinds in a new grinder: Most manufacturers test their grinders with coffee beans before they leave their facility. Unfortunately, they are not always able to get every trace of coffee out of the grinders after testing. As a result, you may find coffee beans or grinds inside your grinder, or there may be grinds in the packaging.
- Static issues: There are static issues with all grinders, even the highest-quality models. We firmly believe that the static comes from the coffee beans. If you are having static problems with your coffee grinder, try using a different blend of beans.
- Electrical: To avoid electrical damage (which is not considered a manufacturer's defect), please acquire and install a single-outlet surge suppressor rated at 1080 joules or higher. A surge without protection can damage a grinder at the power switch, the capacitor, the motor, or the wiring.
- Burr cleaning: For routine maintenance of the grinding burrs, we recommend using grinder cleaning agents. We do not recommend any removal of the burrs or the burr carrier for cleaning (unless necessary) as re-assembly can cause damage. If the grinder chamber is dis-assembled, the warranty is voided for any damages that result. It is important to always remove all coffee grinds from the threads of the burr carrier and the grinding chamber.
- Replacing burrs: NEVER use a flat head screwdriver and hammer to wedge UNDER the burrs for removal. This could badly damage your grinder.
