Elektra 00150019 Brass Steam Valve

This steam valve (00150019) is for the Elektra Microcasa Leva & Semiautomatica espresso machine models.

There is no gasket on either side of this valve. Some customers put thread seal tape where it connects to the male threads. Once you hand tighten the valve, position it so the knob stem is vertical. Then tighten the nut to make a good seal and stop the valve from moving. The knob is held in by friction.

      This part, Elektra 00150019 Brass Steam Valve, looks like it has been used and a copper color, not brass. Can you verify? I just bought another part for the same machine from you and it was perfect.
