An update from the previous Magica model, now featuring an easily adjustable OPV on top of the machine.

Released in late 2024, the Bezzera Luce replaces the Magica and introduces an easily adjustable OPV, allowing quick and precise tuning of brew pressure without opening the machine. It features a 2 L copper heat exchanger boiler with insulation for stable temperatures and efficient simultaneous brewing and steaming, paired with a vibration pump that delivers consistent pressure without needing a plumbed-in water line. The classic E61 grouphead ensures reliable extraction and supports an optional flow-control kit. Daily use is made simple with high-mounted Italian-styled dual pressure gauges, ergonomic steam and hot water wands with joystick valves and rubber grips, and a large 4 L open-top reservoir that’s easy to fill and clean. Ideal for home baristas, small cafés, or offices, the Luce provides professional-quality espresso, milk-based drinks, tea, and hot chocolate in a compact and versatile package.

The Luce features a 2.0 L copper heat exchanger boiler, providing ample capacity for simultaneous brewing and steaming. Copper is an excellent thermal conductor, allowing efficient heat transfer, stable temperatures, and fast recovery between shots, while the insulation wrap helps retain heat and reduce energy loss. This combination ensures consistent espresso extraction and reliable steam performance for multiple drinks in a row.
The Luce features a classic E61 grouphead, renowned for its thermal stability and reliable extraction, delivering rich, balanced espresso shot after shot. For baristas who want even more control, the grouphead is flow control capable with an optional kit sold separately, allowing precise adjustment of extraction rates for enhanced flavor and crema development.
On previous Magica models, adjusting the OPV required removing the body panel and using a wrench—an inconvenient process for most users. The Luce improves on this with an easily accessible OPV located on the top panel beneath the cup warmer tray. Simply use an Allen key: turn clockwise to increase pressure and counter-clockwise to decrease it. This design allows quick, precise tuning of brew pressure without disassembling the machine, giving baristas greater control and convenience.
The Luce features a generously sized 4-liter water reservoir, providing plenty of capacity for multiple drinks without frequent refills. Its open-top design makes filling quick and easy, while also simplifying cleaning and maintenance for a hassle-free daily experience.
The Luce features a vibration pump, which is compact, reliable, and perfect for home or small café use. Unlike rotary pumps, vibration pumps allow flexible installation without needing a plumbed water line, deliver consistent brewing pressure, and require minimal maintenance—making it simple to enjoy professional-quality espresso without the complexity of a commercial rotary system.
The Luce features a multi-directional steam wand with a rubber grip for frothing milk into creamy micro foam, and a separate hot water wand for tea, hot chocolate, and other hot beverages. Both wands are operated with smooth joystick valves, while the 2-hole steam tip ensures precise, consistent milk texturing for professional-quality drinks.
Unlike earlier Magica models that placed both gauges low on the front panel, the Luce positions its two separate pressure gauges higher for easier readability. The Italian-styled gauges use a white band to clearly show the optimal pressure range, improving both usability and visual balance.
The Luce features a stylish cup-warming area with updated railings that are more elegant than those on the Magica. The large surface accommodates a variety of cup sizes, while the boiler positioned directly below emits passive heat, gently warming your cups and keeping them at the ideal temperature for serving espresso, milk-based drinks, or other hot beverages.
