The Bezzera Arcadia DE Brewing Profile is the manufacturer’s latest professional espresso machine with brilliant technological innovations. The convertible brewing group’s temperature and pressure profile for each key, which combines with a precise setting of the “brew ratio”, will allow you to make the best espresso to your liking! Bezzera’s new patent and hydraulic system designed for thermal stability permits the Bezzera Arcadia DE to be the first professional espresso machine to use the drip brewing method. Specifically, this model allows for this to occur with you using the same brewing head that you use to make a shot of espresso.

Four beverages:

• Drip coffee: Permits you to set at least one program to brew your blend with the drip brewing method. The group will extract water at the best preset temperature and flow rate.
• Espresso: Use the software to customize the pressure brewing profile and temperature to get the perfect aroma and taste from your blend.
• Tea: Up to 6 programs, but 3 if you are using the AUTO-FOAMER option, for 2 hot water dispensers. That way, you can extract the perfect amount of water at the best temperature for tea.
• Auto milk foamer option: You can set 3 programs that allow you to have 3 types of milk textures and temperatures.

Heat exchange system:

• Copper: The boiler is copper which retains heat better than stainless steel. Typically copper boilers are more susceptible to limescale when you compare to stainless steel boilers. Therefore, we highly recommend using a water softener.
• Pull a shot & steam milk at the same time: Steam is always readily available. Hence, there is no wait time going from coffee to steam mode. Works well if entertaining a small group of people.

Versatility:

• Volumetric motor pump: Placed inside the espresso machine, which directly connects to the water mains.

Safety thermostat:

• Double safety of boiler: Done with the help of a safety thermostat and an overpressure hydraulic valve.

Bluetooth capability:

• Wi-Fi module: Allows for the Bezzera Arcadia DE to connect to any smartphone, tablet, or PC with a wireless card. This is to check program and download dispensing profiles, parameters, and to create sharable program files with all operating systems.

• Instruction manual in English.
• Single spout portafilter – This states “G. Bezzera” on the back of the metal and is 58mm in diameter.
• Dual spout portafilter – This states “G. Bezzera” on the back of the metal and is 58mm in diameter.
• 1-cup filter basket – Holds 7g of coffee grounds.
• 2 gold fittings – for the hose to hook up to water line

General Espresso Machine Notes/Warnings:

• Upon first use (tank/reservoir models): On the initial start-up (or after a long period of non-use), it is important to make sure the pump is removing water from the tank. When the machine is powered on, you will hear the pump running. After 5 seconds, squeeze the in-line hose in the tank (usually the longest hose, has a particle filter attached). if you hear a different sound, this means the pump is working correctly. • Electrical: To avoid electrical damage to this espresso machine which is not considered a manufacturer's defect, please acquire and install a single-outlet surge suppressor rated at 1080 joules or higher. Without the recommended surge suppressor, the espresso machine can be damaged at the power switch, the electronics, the heating element, the pressurstat, or the wiring inside. • Water: To increase the useful life and not damage your espresso machine, please use softened water. Softened water is water without calcium and magnesium, but still has other minerals for espresso extraction. Do not use distilled, purified, or reverse osmosis water as these types of water create oxidation with the metals and cause the same damaging effects as limescale. • Descaling: We do not recommend descaling unless there is an issue with the espresso machine. Too much descaling can eat away at the metals and gaskets inside an espresso machine. As a preventative measure, we recommend using softened water as explained in the bullet point above.
