If your valve is leaking through the stem where the knob is attached to, you need to order two for each valve you are replacing these O-rings. To repair, unplug machine, allow to cool down, remove all steam from boiler by opening steam valve to full open position (even if repairing only the hot water valve). If repairing the hot water valve, turn to full open position once the steam stops exiting the steam valve.
Remove the wraparound body (usually 6 screws). On the inside of the machine, there is a nut holding the valve in place – not the nut on the tube, but the nut on the inner wall. This nut needs to be held with a wrench. On the outside, there is a nut right behind the steam valve. Place a terry cloth over the nut before placing a wrench to turn this loose. Once loosened, the steam valve stem can be further turned to open and come out of the valve. Replace two O-rings, lubricate with PetrolGel, and reverse procedure for installing.
