This is considered and accepted as standard business practice by all manufacturers and will be accepted upon order.

Is there any trick or special tool you can recommend to remove the heating element from this VBM Domobar Jr. HX machine? I have the machine upside down and have taken the sides and back panels off but due to the arrangment of the support rod for the boiler there doesn't seem to be any easy way to fit a crescent wrench in there. The element base appears to be roughly 1.5" in diameter but I'm not sure about that - can you please confirm the exact dimensions? My next step is to try a plumber's basin wrench on it, but I'm concerned about damaging the brass base. I'm also not sure a large socket would work as it doesn't appear that there is full vertical clearance between the base of the heating element and the access panel on the bottom of the machine. Ideas? I'd really like to replace this myself as that would only set me back around $90 with the gasket. If I send it to a local repair shop they'll likely charge me triple that...

A 1 7/16th inch socket wrench is needed and needs to be squeezed in. Sometimes the boiler will need to be held if limescale has frozen the internal threading. A plumber's wrench with threading should NEVER be used.
