Rental of Service Tool used for the grouphead of Ponte Vecchio lever espresso machines. This tool is not new. It is used. There are 2 pieces, a handle and a disc.
The non-refundable $39.95 fee, which includes shipping to you, is for a 14 calendar day rental (includes shipping time in both directions). Our shipping time to you can be up to 7 calendar days. The core charge of $100 is only refunded when the service tool is satisfactorily returned to our facilities within 14 calendar days of our ship day. Satisfactorily means in undamaged and working condition AND proof showing the delivery to our facility.
The refund for the core charge will be reduced by $10/per day for every calendar day after the 14 days – this includes non-deliverable days, weekends, holidays, and days we are closed. After 24 calendar days from the ship date, there are no refunds for the core.

- Please insure the item and obtain a tracking number as this will be your proof for loss and you may need to file a claim if lost or damaged.
- be aware you are responsible for return shipping costs to our facility AND for proper packaging

I recently bought one of the PV service tools, and it didn't come with the flat aluminum piece for the filter plate like I've seen in pictures of this tool.

Sorry, the manufacturer only provided us what is in the picture above (portafilter, inside ring).

Yes, just pay the full fee for rental and core charge, but do not return the rental unit.
Please note that it is possible to end up with a slightly used one.
