Lelit PLA580V 58mm Bottomless Portafilter
This bottomless portafilter (PLA580V) is for most of the Lelit VIP line espresso machine models with a 58mm grouphead. This includes the PL82T Kate, PL92T Elizabeth, PL91T Victoria.
It will not fit the PL81T Grace since it has a 57mm grouphead. For Lelit espresso machines with a 57mm grouphead, please see SKU PLA570V.
The handle has an ergonomic slant. The 3-cup filter basket can hold approximately 21 grams of ground coffee.
Please note this portafilter cannot be used for backflushing.

Hi, before the holidays, I placed this order a bottomless portafilter. My new setup didn't fully arrive until after the first of the year so I haven't had the chance until now to use the filter. I believe something is wrong with the filter or basket or both combined. When using it, water overflows from the top of the portafilter while brewing. It doesn't happen with the stock portafilter and basket that came with the machine. Is there a way to have a replacement sent?

When using a bottomless, the grind fineness usually needs to be made coarser than when using the stock portafilter. We find it common that many customers do not change the grind fineness and experience the same issue. So far, not one customer has complained about the problem you are having in this last batch we received.

Unfortunately, there are more than 1 versions of those baskets, and we can not just advise a blanket 'yes' or 'no' to this question. There may be some baskets that fit and others that will not fit. We are very sorry that we do not have a better answer to this question.
