      This steam knob on my Lelit Glenda PL41PLUST spins freely and the valve is stuck in the open position. I am trying to remove the knob to see what's going on, but I am unable to remove it. It appears to be held on by a screw, which I removed, and I expected to be able to slide the knob off but it won't budge. Is there a trick to removing this knob?

      It needs to be pulled outwards. You may try to wiggle in a flathead screwdriver to gently pry out the knob, but you may damage the body. Look inside the knob to see if it is cracked. And, try to turn the stem with a crescent wrench to close - DO NOT use pliers or regular wrenches with teeth.
