Answered by the admin Yes, we carry them unless it states discontinued. Sorry, with COVID19, there have been replenishment delays and we do not have an ETA at this time.
    4. I'm wondering when the best time to replace the burrs is. I have a machine where the cone-shaped burr is spinning, but only until it hits a certain level of fine-ness. Even at a very coarse setting, there isn't any ground coffee output. I have taken the machine apart to ensure there are no obstructions in the burrs or the chute, and everything is clear. Is there a way to tell if it is a motor issue, or a burr issue?

Sorry, we are unable to diagnose without visually inspecting the grinder. To solve this problem is by process of elimination - change burrs first, then motor.

    6. Could you please let me know if your replacement Lelit MC311 / 38 mm conical grinding burrs will fit my PL 43 model stepped grinder. The larger outer burr on my grinder is 38 mm, and has a flat spot which locks the outer burr in place in the top plastic gear.

Hi Roberto, we are very sorry as we never carried your Lelit model grinder. There were other importers prior to us bringing in other equipment we are not familiar with.

Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm either if the replacement burrs fit or not fit. It is best to contact Lelit in Italy for a diagram and use the diagram for a part number which is then matched to our web site.

Please note that Italy is closed for August, so there may be some time before they get back to you with a diagram. In addition, we do not accept returns on grinding burrs.

We are sorry that we can not determine difficulty level for installers as we are unaware of each persons experience and mechanical aptitude as well as tools available for self-repair. Unfortunately, there is no repair manual nor instructions on how to replace the burr set as is common with most manufacturers.

The tell-tale signs is in the poor quality of the espresso extraction when the burrs are at its finest settings. Typically, steel burrs last between 400 and 600 pounds of coffee beans, but this can change depending upon the hardness of the beans and any foreign matters (stones, sticks, cement) that could damage the burrs.
