1st-line In Tank Water Softener and Particle Filter (60 liter) for Espresso Machines with a Rotary Pump and Intake Hose in Reservoir

This 1st-line water softener (V329K) is an aftermarket 60L filter, made in Italy, and is suitable for the Lelit Bianca espresso machine that uses the MC747Plus water softener, as well as many other espresso machines. The 60L water softeners are typically for espresso machines with a rotary pump AND tank models with intake hoses.

The reservoir should have an opening of about 1.75 inches in diameter and should have the intake hose from the top of the reservoir. This softener can NOT be used on bottom-feed reservoirs.

Designed to reduce limescale-causing agents, 1st-line In Tank Water Softeners use resins to trap hardness-causing agents and reduce their concentration in your water. This softener does NOT filter the water for chlorine or other mineral particulates, just as most carbon water filters do not soften the water.

The 1st-line In Tank Water Softener 60L needs to be charged before its first use, and then recharged weekly (i.e., every Sunday) or after softening 60 liters of water, whichever comes first. In order to achieve optimal performance, in most cases it is recommended to replace the 1st-line In Tank Water Softener 60L every 3 months. These softeners are available in multiples of 6 and include instructions for first use and recharging.

Always attach to in-take hose before inserting int he reservoir. Please remove this softener when descaling to avoid damage.
