1st-line In Tank Water Softener / Particle Filter (30 liter) for Espresso Machines with Vibration Pumps and an Intake Hose in the Reservoir

This 1st-line In Tank Water Softener (V332K) is an aftermarket 30L filter, made in Italy, and is suitable for Lelit espresso machine models (Mara X, Mara, Elizabeth and Victoria) that use the MC747 water softener as well as many other espresso machines that use the V725 water softener. The 30L water softeners are typically for vibration pump tank models with intake hoses.

The reservoir should have an opening of about 1.75 inches in diameter and should have the intake hose from the top of the reservoir. This softener can NOT be used on bottom feed reservoirs.

The 1st-line In Tank Water Softener is designed to reduce limescale causing agents. The softener contain resins that bind to hardness-causing minerals, reducing their presence in your water. This softener does NOT filter the water for chlorine, other mineral particulates, etc., just as most water filters do not soften the water.

The 1st-line In Tank Water Softener 30L needs to be charged before its first use, and then recharged weekly (i.e. every Saturday) or after softening 30 liters water, whichever comes first. In most cases, the 1st-line In Tank Water Softener should be replaced every 3 months for optimal performance. These softeners are available in multiples of 6 and include instructions for first use and recharging.

Please remove this softener when descaling to avoid damage. Always attach to in-take hose before inserting int he reservoir.
