Steam is leaking from the PID on my Bianca. Is there supposed to be a gasket or thread sealant applied to the PID to help prevent leaking? Also, is there a torque setting for the PID? I'm concerned with over tightening and stripping the threads on the boiler. Thanks!

Yes, plumbers tape or Loctite 510 can be used. Check the machine for water corrosion as this may be the issue for the sealant to no longer function.

    2. The exploded diagram on the MaraX shows this part as 9600088, and the sensor in my machine looks like the diagram (needle-like probe, nut securing probe on top). The how-to replacement video from Lelit shows this part, however, and your description seems to indicate this is the part. Is this a mistake or an update?

Answered by the admin Lelit does change parts numbers over time, and sometimes, they ship a slightly different part under the old part number. Either probe should work.
