I have a PL92T. Looking at the diagram, I don't see the gasket between the Valve (2200066) and Valve Stem (2200075) listed as a separate part. Does this part include the gasket? Or is it a common part that would be available elsewhere? I need to replace both the Valve Stem and the gasket.

The stem usually includes the end gasket that creates the closure of steam. It is best to not over-tighten the stem when closing the steam valve.

    2. Hi Jim. I have the Lelit Elizabeth and I notice the steam wand is starting to drip slightly. There's usually a little puddle in the morning after it starts up on timer. Normally, I close it just enough and don't overtighten it. But now I'm having to close the knob tighter now. The knob has become a little creaky and it just feels as if a gasket is wearing out inside, like a faucet. I'm comfortable going in and doing maintenance work, so Is there anything I should do to clean or lubricate? I have a whole house water softener, but it still feels like calcium buildup. Do I need a new valve? The machine will be 2 years old in Dec. I appreciate the help. Thanks Alan Grilli

Please unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and allow to cool. Remove the top panel by removing the three star screws under the water tank lid - they go sideways.

Remove the holding nut on the steam valve stem. Wind out the steam arm and inspect the gasket. It may be indented from over-tightening. If it is, it may be able to be turned around - not easy pulling the gasket out OR the entire stem needs to be replaced. You will be able to see any build up on the end portion of the stem if there was any water corrosion.
