ECM C199901550.1 Safety Thermostat 145°C
This 145°C safety thermostat (C199901550.1) is for ECM espresso machines.
This thermostat is comes from the supplier as either white or black. The white thermostat has a short M4 thread, while the black thermostat has a longer M4 thread. Both work in machines that we have experimented with and we ship whichever part we have in stock at the time.
We will ship what is in stock. You can REQUEST (not guaranteed) in the comments section of the order which color or version you prefer.
Please note that when removing the old one, the threaded stem can break AND at that point, a new boiler is needed or an ez-out is needed.
Tightening the new thermostat in on an angle can damage the threads, and tightening too tight will snap the new stem.

The black version has a longer stem and we believe the black ones are more reliable than the original white versions previously supplied by the OEM.
