The Acaia Lunar Base is a secure base replacement for the Acaia Lunar espresso scale to further protect against heavy or commercial use. Additionally, the base is able to keep the scale’s precision. The large profile of the base protects the scale from heat and moisture in shallow drip trays. The profile also stops the tray lips from impeding with the movement of the scale’s weighing surface.
In addition, the polycarbonate outer base simplifies the movement of the Acaia Lunar scale across the slotted drip trays as a plus for workflows that require constant transferring of the Lunar. Best of all, it is easy to put together and includes all the essential hardware and tools!
Inside the package comes with the base, a backplane, six screws, and a hex key. This also features a replacement aluminum inner base.
