Acaia began developing its first product, the Pearl coffee scale, in 2013 and was officially founded in 2014. The company was created with a focus on combining precision weighing technology, thoughtful design, and modern technology for the specialty coffee industry. Since then, Acaia has developed a range of precision coffee scales and brewing tools used by coffee enthusiasts and professionals around the world.

1st-Line Equipment first brought Acaia products into our catalog in 2019. As other manufacturers, including Eureka, began introducing their own lines of coffee scales, our focus and customer interest shifted toward those products.
