  1. Unplug your machine from the electrical outlet. Wait at least 1 hour for the machine to cool to prevent burning.
  2. Remove the top cover.
  3. Use a crescent wrench to remove the holding nut on the valve stem.
  4. Unwind the stem all the way out and thread in the new one all the way in.
  5. Put the holding nut back in and tighten it with a crescent wrench.
  6. Test the machine for leaks with the cover off.
