Missing water into the tank.

There is no water into the tank. Remove the water tank from its housing (7). Fill the tank with water at room temperature. Reposition the tank in the housing.

Please make sure the float in the reservoir can move freely back and forth. The float can stick. The cap can be removed since it is held with friction. The float and its holding compartment should be cleaned with non-abrasive detergent and non-abrasive sponge and reassembled. Please make sure the tab is not broken under the reservoir. If the tab is broken, the water reservoir will need replacement.

With the tank that has a tab under the reservoir, listen for the click when placing the reservoir in its final position. If it does not click, the switch may be off center or not working (damaged with water which would require a replacement).

Also, disconnect and reconnect the black audio-type of wire under the machine frame and reservoir assembly to reset the water level sensor.

Steam boiler filling alarm.

Lelit Bianca Error Code 3

The steam boiler filling phase has exceeded the maximum time of 150 seconds.

Error 3 is the steam boiler not filling fast enough. Before the below, remove the water softener and see if the problem resolves. A clogged water softener or filter (if plumbed) can delay the filling of the steam boiler which causes this error. Important: Never remove more than 4 ounces of water through the water wand as you can burn out the heating element.

First, the problem may be that water sits for more than 2 weeks inside the machine which causes a small build up, low water pressure, or an air pocket in the pump. Remove the water softener from the reservoir, reconnect the hose and descale the machine for dual boilers.

Second, if plumbed in, the water line pressure to low. It needs to be 35-40 psi. When low, the rotary pump is usually louder than normal.

Third, the solenoid valve or a related pipe to refill the boiler may have build up as well as the pump having build up. We would suggest running a descaler through the coffee boiler and steam boiler (maximum 4 ounces through the hot water wand as it refills).

Fourth, the solenoid valve may not be opening to allow water into the boiler and may need replacement. The only way to know is disconnect the outbound tube of the boiler refill solenoid valve and see if there is water there. Please make sure the unplug the machine from the electrical outlet and the unit is cold before doing this.

Lastly, contact the service center as it may need to be brought in for service.
