Power off the espresso machine and disconnect the plug from the outlet.
On the back of the machine next to the power switch is the the manufacturer’s label. This contains the serial number, certifications, and other technical information.
Remove the top cover and the water tank inside.
To gain access to the inside, you have to remove the top panel. There are 2 screws you need to remove with a Philips head screwdriver.
Once you remove the screws, use the screwdriver to help wedge the top panel out.
You can sit the panel to the side. However, to avoid scratches, it is best to remove the panel completely. There are 2 tubes passing through the opening of the panel. One of them has a filter on the end. You must remove it first. Just remember which tube has the filter attached to it.
You will now have complete access to the inside to diagnose and replace parts.
