Before starting: To avoid scratches, you need to place a cloth over the parts and then use a wrench.

Note: If you have the Elektra Microcasa Semiautomatica, you need to remove the 3 bolts holding the top water reservoir. This is to help prevent the gauge from hitting the reservoir upon removal.

To remove the gauge, you need to loosen the hex nut slightly. Then you remove the gauge by turning out the square portion.

Change the hex nut over to the new one all the way up.

Turn the square part to bring the gauge into position. However, it will not perfectly line up. So, you back it out a little so as to face forward, then you tighten the hex nut holding the gauge in position and this will make the seal.
