If your Evok is equipped with an auto milk frother, this valve can be adjusted to increase/decrease the amount of air combined with the fresh milk. This allows for obtaining more or less foam in the cup.
- To increase the amount of air that mixes in, gently turn clockwise in 1/4 increments
- To decrease the amount of air that mixes in, gently turn counter-clockwise in 1/4 increments.
It is best to make any adjustments while operating the milk frother at each 1/4 increment.
Each hot water wand has a mixing valve for hot water/cold water. When dispensing water for tea, it can be adjusted to increase/decrease the amount of cold water to be mixed in so that it is a similar temperature (e.g., 90°C) and avoid splashing during dispensing.
- To increase the amount of cold water that mixes in, turn clockwise in 1/4 increments, or
- To decrease the amount of cold water that mixes in, turn counter-clockwise in 1/4 increments
It is best to make any adjustments while operating.
Please note:
- There is no standard indication of minimum or maximum turns, nor a distinction based on the different types of milk, as each mechanical or electrical component has its own tolerance margin. Adjustments should therefore be made as needed.
- Adjustments must be carried out during operation to ensure their effectiveness.
