V..512 3/8″ Portafilter Brew/Pump Pressure Gauge Check Kit

Check your espresso machine’s rotary pump pressure at the grouphead OR measure the brew pressure on espresso machines with vibration pumps
Measures 0-25 bar
Allows for adjustment of a rotary vane pump or the expansion (overpressure) relief valve (on machines that have it) – sorry, technical support not included in price of part
Fits most standard commercial-grade portafilters with 3/8 inches male thread
Remove the spout and screw from the original portafilter’s bottom
Some assembly required – manometer/gauge needs to be attached to adapter
O-ring included for manomater/gauge to spout adapter

These 2 gauges are similar. You may receive either one.

    I used this kit to attach to a Rocket portafilter to measure and adjust the pressure on my Stone espresso machine. In the adapter I placed the screen followed by the thinner PTFE washer. I wrapped the spout threads in PTFE tape (not sure if this is needed) and screwed on the adapter. In the other end of the adapter i placed the O-ring. I wrapped this gauge’s thread in PTFE tape and then screwed in the gauge. Once assembled I put the portafilter in place and was able to measure the pressure (no leaks!), 12 bar, which I adjusted at the OPV.
