Universal 58mm Blind Filter Basket

This blind filter basket/cup is used for backwashing or backflushing a grouphead and fits most portafilters that have 58mm inserted 58mm filter baskets. And, it can be used when descaling so descaling solution is backflushed into the three way solenoid valve as well as descaling the OPV (over pressure valve) on machines that have this.

Do NOT use this if your espresso machines does NOT have a grouphead solenoid valve. For example, lever espresso machines do not have solenoid valves. In these lever espresso machines, the screen needs to be removed for manual cleaning.

This item does fit the Ascaso Steel Pro series espresso machines, but it does not fit the Ascaso Dream, Basic, Arc, or Steel Uno Special Edition/Versatile models. Alternative for MC754-C.

      2. Is it very shallow or just looks like that? Will it fit Elektra Semiautomatica 58mm portafilter or I need to look for a different (deeper) one (especially if I have a bottomless portafilter too)?

      3. When using a Cafiza tablet to backflush my machine, should I just put 1 tablet in this blind basket and lock it into my portafilter & grouphead? Thanks!
