For the most part, there won't be any noticeable difference. Brass makes a more secure connection, compared to plastic.

Sorry, we are not able to confirm 'yes' or 'no' as we have never changed out this pump before.
Hello. I have an older, Pasquini Livia90. Is this a compatible pump? If not, please recommend a compatible vibration pump (120v 60hz).
I'm unaware of any additional parts that SHOULD be replaced when a new pump is installed, please share your suggestions on that...
Cheers,

Yes, it should be interchangeable as long as your espresso machine's pump shows EAX5, EX5, or EAP5 on the pump. If it is an older style which is not an ULKA, then it will not work on your espresso machine.

From our testing, the range has been from 2.1 to 2.6 ohms on a new pump.
I have a Pasquini G4 pid. Looks like the pump is really slow again. I replaced it in 2017 already. It is a Ulka EX5 41W. Should I upgrade it to the 52W model you have? It is compatible? I see you are selling these on Amazon as well, do you match that price with free shipping? Thank you!

Sorry, we do not match our prices on Amazon that have shipping charges. Since the pump is failing so fast, you may have other issues inside the machine that may be causing this. It should be checked by a professional.
I have an Ascaso Uno versatile from 2011. You think its time to replace the pump or not needed? Curious if replacing over a certain amount of time is recommended.
