Frequently Bought Together

Your espresso machine's shower screen should be cleaned regularly to help remove coffee oils and residue that can affect espresso flavor and extraction. If your espresso machine is equipped with a 3-way group head solenoid valve, you can typically clean the group using backflushing detergent and a blind filter (backflush basket) according to the manufacturer's instructions.

If your espresso maker does not have a 3-way group head solenoid valve, do not attempt to backflush it. Instead, remove the shower screen and clean it manually with an appropriate espresso machine cleaning detergent.

If you are unsure whether your espresso machine supports detergent backflushing, consult the manufacturer's documentation before using backflushing detergent. Always follow the cleaning and maintenance instructions recommended for your specific espresso machine.
