Slingshot Kilo’ Precision Automatic Tamper
Precision Scale
The Kilo Autotamper incorporates a precision load cell scale to regulate the tamping pressure, allowing for adjustments from a gentle 3kg “soft tamp” to a robust 30kg.
Removable Tamping Disc
The tamping disc is connected to the auto-tamper through a magnetic locking system, enabling baristas to effortlessly detach the disc for cleaning purposes.
Cleaning Function
The cleaning function lowers the tamping disc, providing users with convenient access for cleaning purposes.
Super Fast Tamping
Kilo is unequivocally the swiftest automatic tamper available. Tamping time varies, starting at just 0.8 seconds for a single tamp and reaching a maximum of 1.4 seconds for a triple tamp. The exceptionally fast tamping operation is ensured by our distinctive twin-disc transmission design and the onboard weighing system.
Variable Tamping Profile
Kilo boasts a patented variable tamping profile, allowing the barista to configure up to three distinct profiles. Within each profile, it is possible to set the tamping frequency from 1 to 3 times, accompanied by a pressure range spanning from 3 to 30 kg.
Tamping & Polishing
Kilo gently tamps the coffee puck, simultaneously polishing the coffee surface through a 35-degree turning motion. The distinctive tamping movement effectively eliminates static on the Tamping Disc.
Tamping Counter
Kilo keeps track of the total coffee tamps for each distinct tamping profile, providing a valuable feature for monitoring daily coffee sales.
