An improved boiler made of lead free brass, so no copper plating of the inside as in earlier Silvia V1 brass versions. Heating element is stainless steel instead of copper plated brass and element is easily removed compared to earlier version if replacement necessary.
Replacing a V1 boiler you will need both this plumbing coupler here for the Over Pressure Valve https://www.1st-line.com/buy/rancilio-boiler-expansion-valve-connector-silvia/ as well as a new boiler to steam valve pipe here https://www.1st-line.com/buy/rancilio-copper-pipe-from-boiler-to-steam-valve-for-silvia/
I found no copper sealing rings were necessary at the OPV and the OPV came out at correct angle after tightening – really tight. I replaced boiler screws with stainless parts and torqued them evenly with a torque wrench – but not necessary.
