I have a VBM single boiler machine from you. I read your descale instructions. It looks like the instructions suggest going only through the water/ steam wand. Do you recommend passing any solution through the group head by toggling the brew lever? I’m thinking it would be good to descale the group head as well? Perhaps that is not a good idea? My machine has no symptoms. I use very soft water but once in a while I descale. Any suggestions? Thanks very much!

We are unsure what you mean as single boilers as most of the VBM machines we sold are HX or dual boiler espresso machines. Single boiler espresso machines mean the machine has a switch to get into steam mode. However, yes, you should descale through the grouphead. Be careful though as the descaler can strip all the lubrication from the cams in the E61 grouphead.
