No. The bottom part of the funnel sits inside the filter basket making the diameter smaller.
The main function is to reduce any spillage from coffee being poured into your portafilter.
Will this fit a 53mm portafilter basket?

Hi,
Unfortunately, Lelit has discontinued the PL53 model and we don't have a spare one test out if the funnel will fit. Our best guess is that due to the grinders compact and "unique" design, it would not easily fit underneath the chute.
