Hario Cold Brew Coffee Jug

Enjoy coffee in a new way, especially during the summer months.

When brewing coffee with hot water, the oils and acids dissolve & degrade in the water giving that bitter taste. Cold brewing allows the oils and acids to dissolve & degrade more slowly resulting in a smoother, less bitter taste. The reduced acidity is also better for your body.

Preparation is easy. You can use any type of water you want: distilled, mineral, or softened. The ground coffee you use must be on the coarse side similar to drip coffee. Add the ground coffee into the strainer, approximately 80 grams. Pour water in, approximately 8 cups. Place the jug into your refrigerator and let it sit for approximately 8 hours for the cold brew to complete.
