  • Bezzera BZ07 manufactured on or after January 29, 2014 use part number 7496092

    Please read the description for details. The part number is based on production. This replaces 7496092 as stated on the description.

    A Funny you ask. I've been replacing those things for years and last time, for some reason, I chose to put the beveled edge facing up ... so the flat edge was facing the portafilter, WHICH was wrong. Won't bore you with the the detail on what happened next but it is definitely flat side up.
    A flat side fits shape of top of gasket space on brew group use olive oil to slip it in just a thin wipe will slide easier into place after you set portafilter in place then tighten i have a bzo2 have been changed this gasket many times the curved surface will shape to portafilter surface to make a tight seal for extraction

    Sorry, the manufacturer does not provide dimensions. Please review the Bezzera diagrams for your Bezzera espresso machine to determine the correct part number for the portafilter gasket.

    Sorry, this particular portafilter gaskets will not.

    There are 2 versions of a portafilter gasket for the livia 90. Thick and thin.
    6. I have a Bezzera BZ07 DE machine, made in 2016. I need a portafilter gasket. I have a gasket that is the item number 7493008, but it appears that for machines made in 2016 I need item number 7496092, not this one. Is that correct, that 7493008 won't work for this portafilter? Do you have the 7496092 part? I don't see it on the site. Thanks

    It is ALWAYS best to reference the diagrams. Bezzera, unlike other manufacturers in Europe, do a pretty good job recording changes in their diagrams.

    We did find part number 7496092 on our web site.

    Sorry, we never sold the Bezzera BZ40 espresso machine. Therefore, we are unaware of this part fitting any of the models that we do not sell. Please contact your selling dealer or Bezzera directly to determine the correct part number.

    Please note that replacing the portafilter gasket on an old machine may not always solve a leakage issue at the grouphead. When extracting espresso on an older machine, a worn out grouphead or a wornout portafilter can also contribute to leakage at the grouphead. Sometimes, this is resolved using what is known as a spacer above the portafilter gasket.
