My Bezzera 10 becomes very hot. It takes some time to cool down making sizzling sound of water vapor even after I turn the machine off. Do I need to replace 7634819 Safety Thermostat? Thanks Ben.

Answered by the admin Usually, when this part fail fails, there is no heat or there is no continuity between its posts or the reset button does not click in. The shutting off of the overheat means this part is working to prevent the boiler from blowing up. The machine will need to be evaluated to see why it is an overheat is occuting. There are several areas why it is occurring and this is beyond the scope of our free Q&A services.

After replacing the heating element, safety thermostat, and part 7826402 SCREW TE M4X16 UNI 5739 OT on my Bezzera BZ10, I'm noting a small leak at the points where the safety thermostat and M4 nut (7822603) connect to the bottom of the heating element. Should there be a gasket involved to stop the leak? I don't see one referenced in the parts diagram.

Answered by the admin We are not aware of any gasket at that point. We suggest using some plumbers tape.

I just purchased the safety thermostat 7634819 for the Bezzera02. The thermostat shows 250v and the bezzera part diagram states the same with no 110v option. My question is, is this the correct part for a 110 v machine? I cant seem to find a 110v safety thermostat anywhere. Thanks Matt

Yes, this is one of those rare cases where the 250 volt part is used on their 110-120 volt machines.
