Making a retro Strega and looking to replace the joystick with a typical gate valve wheel style. Any idea if this valve is compatible with something like that? Saw picture of one that was converted but I'm not sure if this valve modified or an entirely different valve was used. Thanks!

Sorry, we are unable to answer this question because there are multiple importers for this particular model and that can be different versions of pipes behind these valves. You will need to reach out to the manufactured directly with your serial number and this part number to see if they can confirm if it fits. Do you stock standard rebuild kits for the valves? A kit with the parts most likely to scale and/or wear would be really helpful so I can do a PM rebuild rather disassembling after there is a problem, then waiting for weeks for the parts. Espresso downtime is painful. I notice some of the seals are not in stock, which makes it impossible to piece together my own rebuild kit.

Sorry, we did make kits in the past, but then one item would be out of stock and it made the kit useless. In addition, customers would end up buying a kit not for their specific version of a machine as a manufacturer can change parts on a different version of the same model.
