  • If you place your machine on a timer, this part is essential to protect your pump from burnout and meltdown. For instance, if your machine is on a timer to turn on in the morning and someone leaves to coffee switch on, your machine will continuously pump all the water out of the reservoir. This will cause a pump burnout and meltdown. In some machines, it can also run the machine dry.
  • Please note that contacts on the thermostat must must be spliced into one of the wires that connect to the pump, and the blue thermostat must be seated onto the pump housing.
  • Primarily made for ULKA pumps that have the housing to support the blue thermostat as shown in the photograph. Pump not included in purchase.
