Our portafilter gasket/oring is for Ascaso espresso machines (thermoblock and non-professional boilers) with pod capabilities and 57mm baskets. So, this o-ring does NOT fit any Ascaso ‘Professional’ espresso machines NOR Dream PID espresso machines with the 58mm or larger grouphead.

On the same machines with ground coffee, this oring is found between the brass shower holder (I53) and the ground coffee supplement (I277). Depending upon supplier, please note this gasket can come in red or black color. Alternate codes are I18, I.18, I..18, I…18.

    Answered by the admin Please use the diagrams under the support tab on the top of our web site to confirm on your exact model. Sorry, there are several versions of the Dream and they all do not use the same parts.
    2. I need a replacement part for a Dream espresso maker. The label on the base of the maker has the following information - "Dream MF", "Polish", "054052", "11/2006", and "DR-218". Referencing your Ascaso Parts Page, I need a replacement "Ring" that fits into the "Holdershower - Group Thermoblock". It appears that the subject "Ring" is Part Number "I...18". After many years of good service and unbeknownst to me, the "Ring" became dislodged and is now stretched to the extent that it no longer fits back into its groove. The groove on my thermoblock into which the "Ring" fits is approximately 2 inches OD and the ring is approximately 1/8 inch thick. Does the "Ascaso I…18 Portafilter Gasket – between shower holder and ground coffee supplement – Versatile models" fit my Ascaso model? If not, have you the correct part?
