Ascaso Brass Fitting – 3/8 F x 3/8 M – With many European espresso machines that are plumbed in, there is a stainless steel braided hose that connects the machine to the water line. The fittings on the machine and stainless steel hoses are British Metric Units. The difference is a slightly different pitch in the threading. Therefore, it is better to re-thread this V319 fitting to your water line as the brass is a soft metal and it will re-thread better for your plumber on a direct water connection install.

    Since it is made of brass, this part usually fits the 3/8 BSPP/BSP stainless steel braided hoses included with most espresso machines and gets cross-threaded to US NPT on the water supply side .
