Astoria Group Head Gasket Supplemental Shim – 67 x 57 x 1mm is a precision-cut aftermarket 1mm paper/cardboard group head gasket shim designed to compensate for wear in the group head and portafilter locking area. This supplemental spacer is installed above the main rubber or silicone group gasket to increase the overall gasket height and restore proper portafilter positioning.

Over time, repeated use can cause wear to the group head brass locking lugs or portafilter ears, allowing the portafilter to lock too far to the right. Adding this aftermarket 1mm supplemental shim can help correct the locking position and restore a proper seal between the portafilter and group head.

Why Use a Supplemental Group Gasket Shim?

A worn group head or portafilter can change the locking position of the portafilter over time.
