1st-line V128K Joystick Steam/Hot Water Valve
This valve (V128K) is a commercial-grade steam joystick valve that was custom-ordered for the Lelit Bianca and Mara espresso machines.
This valve can lock in “partial” open positions. There is another valve (V224) that only locks in “full” open positions.

Sounds like this has problems integrating with the original Lelit steam wand. Does it work better with the 1st-line Cool Touch wand?

Please do not purchase this yet as we are working on some conversion parts.

Considering it says ” custom ordered for the Bianca ” I expected it to work better with the Lelit. Into the machine is the easy part, it’s where the steam wand attaches it gets interesting.
The stock wand has a brass cap on the ball end that holds a spring and that seats inside the valve and then the nut screws on to hold it together under the valve.
This valve will not take the spring, the ID of it is too small. I found a smaller stiff spring that would fit inside but putting it all together, well it needs the flange to seal the wand nut properly so steam does not leak out.
I couldn’t get a washer or enough tape on it to seal it properly, even using the lock nut that comes with it.
While the joystick worked well and I really liked it, it leaks so no go for me. Yes, I read no warranty no returns so I’m stuck but honestly, It should have worked better.
