1st-line Safety Valve 3/8″ 2.5 Bar

This part (Safety2.5-3/8) has the most common size fitting, 3/8″, and is used on ECM (P2536) and Torre (VALV0010) espresso machines.

However, it will not fit all types of espresso machines – some use smaller (1/4″) or larger (1/2″) fittings.  Please check the fitting size for your brand or model of machine.

This safety valve is constructed using a stainless steel spring and VITON® gasket. It has an operating temperature range of -20°C +200°C. It measures 46 mm x HEX. 21.

Made in Italy.

    I have an ECM Barista. The machine releases pressure at about 1.5 bar, even though it has a 2.5 bar air tech valve. (I am assuming this is where pressure is blowing off?). Does this valve seem like what I need? Is it simple to install? Does it require thread sealer?

    Sorry, your machine probably has the 1.5 bar safety valve by ECM. You need to find the root cause of the overheating issue which is causing this valve to open. DO NOT use the 2.5 bar valve.
