Most tamping stations can take take up valuable counter space. This Countertop Edge Tamping Mat doesn’t take up counter space, but overlays onto the edge of your counter. The rubber material helps prevent it from moving which could result in improper tamping. There is an indent which will conform to most portafilters that have a traditional spout which further helps stabilize for tamping. There’s an exra sufrace to lay down your tamper or other accessories you are using.
