Addendum to the UNICA Instruction Manual

Scope

Description of the procedure to:

1. Set Coffee or Steam setpoint
2. Select the unit of measure (Celsius or Fahrenheit)
3. Steam delivery

Please note that these instructions supersede the information in the user manual.

A. SET COFFEE OR STEAM SETPOINT – REF PAR. 5.1.3

1. Press key 1 to display PrG
2. Press key 3, and the current setpoint is shown
3. Press key 3 again to increase or key 1 to decrease
4. After 3 seconds from the last press, the new value is stored

The setpoint change will be one of the current modes (Coffee or Steam). Please note that two distinct temperature setpoints are stored for Coffee / Steam mode.

B. SELECT THE UNIT OF MEASURE (C of F) – REF PAR. 5.1.4

1. Turn OFF the machine
2. Press both keys 1 and 3 and keep them pressed
3. Turn ON the machine (keeping keys 1 and 3 pressed)
4. When U appears, release keys
5. Press key 3, the current setting is shown (C or F)
6. Press key 3 again to change the setting (each press will toggle between C or F)
7. After 3 seconds from the last press, the new value is stored
8. Turn OFF the machine

C. STEAM DELIVERY – REF PAR. 5.5
During the transition from Coffee to Steam or Steam to Coffee, the display will not show C-S and S-C. All other functionality is as described in the instruction manual.
